Everyone needs time out to relax, recharge and be pampered. Our retreats are designed to care for you from the moment you arrive to the time you leave.
Your body, your mind and your soul all need nurturing, so our retreats take a holistic approach. We provide restoration and treatments for the body, challenge and stimulation for the mind while the peace and beauty of nature rejuvenates your soul. Of course large helpings of lovely homemade lemon cake works wonders on all levels!
What can you expect from an Amovita Retreat?
The provision of exquisitely creative and magical holistic retreats has been a passion of Elizabeth’s since she ran her first one in 2002 so we are delighted to be offering 3 during 2010.
There is something truly magical about being cocooned away to do personal and professional development work that is not only wholly enjoyable but vastly accelerates the process.
Time and space, attention and care
We bring only small groups of people together (maximum of 12) so that you get the individual attention that you deserve. We create a safe space for you, free from pressures or worries that leaves you feeling truly looked after. There is plenty of variety too and we are always working and adapting to the mood of the group.
Fun, play, creativity and exploration
We believe that laughter is good for the soul and the best medicine you can give yourself, so expect large doses. You will find yourself being completely at ease during the time you spend with us in your home away from home. Although we won’t be letting you in the kitchen and especially nowhere near the washing up!
Personal Attention
Because we only take small numbers of people on retreat, each of you can benefit from 24 hour case and attention from Elizabeth and her experienced team.
Simple and comfortable surroundings
We use very special spaces that have a unique energy and create just the right home away from home environment for you.
One of our best loved venues is The Guildhouse at Stanton. The house was build largely by hand by volunteers and has a very special creative energy and is even blessed with a Spinning Wheel that was once Ghandi’s. The village of Stanton is timeless, and has an old world magical feel which we simply love. The Guildhouse has a wonderful feeling that inspires relaxation, creativity and nurture. The beautiful open fire makes for cosy evenings and the bright breakfast room with stunning views makes for a rejuvenating start to your day. The bedrooms are small twins and simply furnished but have all you need for a comfortable and restful night to be able to focus on yourself and your development. Bathrooms are shared between guests and there are plenty of loos so you won’t find yourself queuing in the morning. There are great walks from the door and a garden and terrace to relax and enjoy sunrise, sunset or both at your leisure.
