Reiki Healing

Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) is a Japanese word that literally means Universal Life Force Energy, in other words the energy that holds the universe together, creates life, the energy in and around everything.

Reiki healing is the harnessing of that energy in it’s purest form for healing and for the highest possible good in your life.

Reiki brings healing and balance to your physical body, your mind and your emotions. Receiving Reiki as a healing treatment helps to harmonize all aspects of our being and reconnect us with Universal Energy. You need not have any religious background or belief to receive Reiki as it is non denominational and very different from Spiritual healing.

Elizabeth Cairns is a Reiki Master who uses Reiki in her healing work with individuals and groups and teaches Reiki at 1st and 2nd Degree. Her next Reiki I workshop (for beginners not previously attuned, no experience necessary) will be in West London on Saturday 29 January 2011.

A Reiki treatment with Elizabeth lasts 45 minutes and involves placing her hands on or close to your body while you are fully clothed and sitting or lying on a couch or futon wrapped up warm and comfortable.

People will often find a Reiki session to be a very relaxing, and gentle experience that is restorative, healing and empowering on many levels. Your experience will be unique to you and right for you, there is no right or wrong way to experience this healing energy.

Reiki is a safe for of treatment that complements all other forms of therapy and medicine but is not a substitute for orthodox medical treatment. It is safe to receive Reiki when pregnant. If you are diabetic who uses insulin to regulate your diabetes please be aware that you may need to check your blood sugar levels more closely than usual following Reiki treatment.

Elizabeth reserves the right to decline treatment of anyone she suspects of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of treatment. If you are in any doubt about your suitability for treatment please voice any concerns to Elizabeth at the time of booking.
